- Stock exchange. Quotation board on the face of which is shown the Toronto - face of teleregister key set in position located in the Quotation Room, basement of the Stock Exchange Building. There are four of these positions and the operators are equipped with head telephone sets in direct communication with the "Quote Boys" at the trading posts as explained in 2. The operator, given a change in quotation, depresses the key on the left of the panel assigned to that particular stock, then depresses bid and asked price keys, right panel, then the start bar, extreme right, which automatically and instantly changes the prices on the Quotation Board and the price panel at the trading post simultaneously.abbreviations of all stocks listed on the Exchange. This board is the terminal for circuits leading from the key set position 3, the trading post 2 and the dial ticker in the brokers office 1.
