- In the mountains of Jamaica - more than four thousand feet above sea level is located the little military settlement of Newcastle, which was established over 100 years ago. This station is reached by motor road which is reported to have more than four hundred turns. So winding is this road that the cars travel actually 20 miles to reach the top. This picture shows the winding nature of the road it was taken from the military station.
