- Probably the earliest example of habitant handicraft existing in Canada.These five figures, about eight feet in height, were carved out of five wooden blocks about the year 1654 and adorn the interior of the church at Ste. Famille.They represent the Holy family, being left to right: Ste. Anne, The Virgin Mary, The Child Jesus, St. Joseph and St. Joachim.
