"Northern Electric Company/ LIMITED" appears on centre front of receiver, along lower edge. " R3 RADIO RECEIVER/ PATENTED/ 1916 1917 1918/ 1919 1920 1921 " stamped in white on inside back of receiver casing. " GRID/ RESIS[tor]" handwritten in pencil inside casing.
