Hector Dudley made this boblsed for his children in 1937 and donated it in 1968. Hector Dudley worked as a motorman and operator with the Ottawa Electric Railway (OER) in the 1920s and 30s, and later with the Ottawa Transportation Commission (OTC). - Function

The bobsled is of unique design and sturdily built with guardrails and a retractable tow rope. According to Bruce Dudley, Hector Dudley made the sled over several months and was painted by an OER colleague. - Area Notes
