The bellows were found by Dr. Kenneth Hartin on his property at 6019 Perth St. in Richmond, ON. The property was previously owned by James Stewart (1849-1923), local undertaker and farmer. The number of artifacts found on the property indicates that there was a blacksmith shop there, which may have been a side business or may have been used to repair hearses, carriages and farm equipment. - Function
