IN THIS MODEL RULE WAS PLACED BETWEEN PRE-CURVED BRASS PLATES. THE APPLICATION OF AN IMPRESSION SCREW BENT THE RULE TO THE DESIRED CURVE. A SCALE ENGRAVED ON THE BED OF THIS MACHINE INSURES PROPER PLACEMENT OF THE RULE TO BE BENT. THE RANGE OF BRASS BENDING SECTORS ALLOWS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF VERY SMALL CURVES. - Area Notes
