SUCH MACHINES APPARENTLY ENJOYED EXTENSIVE USE IN CANADA FROM THE 1860'S WELL INTO THE 1880'S AND LATER BUT TO DATE NO EXISTING EXAMPLES HAVE BEEN SEEN BY NMST. THE SUPPLIERS NAME ON THE WHARFDALE GRAPHIC IS A. WATKIN & SON OF TORONTO WHO PROBABLY SUPPLIED THE BLOCK AND POSSIBLY A PRESS ITSELF TO THE JOURNAL. - Area Notes
