This is a style of 14-note organette made by the thousands according to a design devised by John McTammany of Cambridgeport, Massachussetts in1876. This example is nearly identical to the Style C Mechanical Orguinette of the Mechanical Orguinette Company of New York City, which was produced as early as 1880. For more information see: Kevin A. - Very faint print reads: "W.F. ABBOT & CO./ Sole manufacturer and Patentee/ Montreal Canada", "AUTOMATIC"/ TRADE MARK/ M.P.CO." and "HOME SWEET HOME".
- Missing
- Roll is torn in a few places.
- Finish
- Cream coloured card stock with perforated holes. Segments held together by synthetic tape. One segment is made of orange card stock which is not original (unknown when it was added to roll).
