Canada: THIS CYCLE IS IN ORIGINAL CONDITION & IS AN UNCOMMON & EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF A 'WORKING' CYCLE WHICH WAS EMPLOYED AS AN ECONOMIC & EFFICIENT MEANS OF MOVING GOODS & SERVICE PEOPLE. IT DEMONSTRATES A NON-RECREATIONAL USE OF CYCLES & IS OF A TYPE THAT SAW WIDE USE IN CANADA.
Function: To allow the bicycle to stand upright when not in use.
Technical: THE CCM LIGHT DELIVERY CYCLE WAS INTRODUCED IN THE EARLY 1930'S & BY 1937 CCM WAS MARKETING A NUMBER OF LIGHT DELIVERIES UNDER A NUMBER OF ITS OWN & LICENSED MODELS (EG. CLEVELAND, MASSEY, COLUMBIA ETC). ZENITH WASA MODEL PROVIDED FOR SUCH WESTERN WHOLESALERS AS MARSHALL WELLS.
