DESIGN SUGGESTS THEY WERE INTENDED TO CUT SMALL BANDS OR PIECES FROM GOLD OR SILVER SHEETS, FOR USE INCONSTRUCTING CLASPS, PINS, FORMS FOR CROWNS OR FILLINGS, ETC.
