TANGENT GALVANOMETER WAS FIRST DESCRIBED IN 1837 BY CLAUDE-SERVAIS-MATHIASPOUILLET (1790-1868), WHO LATER USED THIS FORM OF GALVANOMETER TO VERIFY OHM'S LAW (REF. 3).
