AN EXAMPLE OF A LATE 1980S-EARLY 1990S STYLE OF RADIOSONDE, CONTROLLED BY A BAROSWITCH WHICH HAS AN ANEROID SENSOR & ALSO SWITCHES IN THE CERAMIC ROD THERMISTOR & ELECTROLYTIC PLASTIC STRIP HYGRISTOR, & REFERENCE RESISTORS. THE RADIOSONDE APPEARS VERY LITTLE CHANGED FROM THOSE OF THE 1970S & 1980S. VALCOM BUILT THE VIZ RADIOSONDE IN GUELPH, ONTARIO UNDER CONTRACT FROM VIZ MFG. CO. OF PHILADELPHIA, PA.
