Technical: THE EDGE OF THE MARKER WOULD BE HIT BY A HAMMER CAUSING THE METAL CUTTER ON THE OTHER SIDE TO DIG INTO THE WOOD THUS MAKING A MARK WHICH WOULD INDICATE WHERE MORE WORK SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT ON THE WOOD.
