THE LENS CONSISTS OF A PLANE PARALLEL GLASS DISC WITH A FEW CONCENTRIC GROUND-IN GROOVES. AT THE GROOVES THE LIGHT RAYS AREDIVERTED WHICH SUPERIMPOSES AN ADDITIONAL IMAGE OF SOFTER DEFINITION ON THE FILM ON TOP OF THE SHARP DEFINITION PRODUCED BY THE REST OF THE LENS.
