Coin glued/embedded below depicts King George, and reads "GEORGIUS V DEI GRAS REX IND. IMP." 3 metal plates screwed to outside, proper left side at thwart attachment points stamped "THE/ WM. ENGLISH CANOE CO./ PETERBOROUGH, CANADA "; 3 plates on right side not marked./.4 " REAR/ LEFT " handwritten in black grease pencil on one end.
