THIS TYPE CONSISTED OF ONE SMALL PAN CONTAINING SULPHURIC ACID & ONE CONTAINING GLYCERINE; MEASUREMENTS OF EVAPORATION WERE TAKEN FROM EACH BY MEANS OF CALIBRATED PLUNGER. THEY WERE USED BY FORESTRY SERVICE IN DETERMINING RISK OF FOREST FIRE. - Technical
