For thisreason it is important/ to allow them sufficient time to fix thoroughly./ The black paper used in wrapping the plates/ causes fog marks if placed in contact with the/ emulsion surface, therefore if only one of a pair/ is used the other should be covered with a sheet/ of glass before rewrapping./ These plates are sensitive to RED light.
