CALUMET WAS KARSH'S PRINCIPLE CAMERA. DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION, EITHER THE 4X5 OR 8X10 BACK WOULD BE ATTACHED, AND THE 10" (970325) OR MORE OFTEN, KARSH'S FAVOURITE 14" LENS (970340) FITTED TO THE CAMERA. A METAL LENS HOOD WAS ATTACHED, TO HELP KEEP LIGHT OUT OF THE LENS, AND THE BURGUNDY CLOTH (970351.2) LOOSELY DRAPED OVER THE BACK. (SEE REF.2, PP.2-3)/ *MFR: CAMERA IDENTIFICATION PROVIDED BY MR.
