Markings stamped on decal backing are very faint: [patent numbers illegible at time of cataloguing] reads in part "SCOTCHLITE/ REFLECTIVE/GRAPHIC/ PATENTED UNDER ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING: [illegible]/ MADE IN U.S.A BY/ MINNESOTA MINING & MFG. COMPANY/ ST. PAUL [-] MINNESOTA, U.S.A." "TEST" printed by hand on decal back.
Missing: DECAL IS COMPLETE IN ITSELF, HOWEVER SMALL AREAS OF LOSS ARE VISIBLE ON TOP RIGHT AND BOTTON CENTRE EDGES.
Finish: GLOSSY DECAL IS PREDOMINANTLY RED, WITH GOLDTONE TRIM & TEXT, AND BLACK AND DARK GREEN ACCENTS.
Decoration: DECAL DEPICTS EXTENDED PAIR OF GOLDTONE WINGS FRAMING GREEN & GOLDTONE ROTATING WHEEL, ABOVE RED SHIELD-SHAPED TEXT PANEL. BLACK TRIM & HIGHLIGHTS THROUGHOUT.
