- "WESTON/ MODEL 603 NO. 376/ ADJUST/ FOR ZERO/ WESTON ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT CORP./ NEWARK, N.J. U.S.A." printed on plate fixed to meter. Meter scale divided 0-500, 0-100 and 0-25, and marked "FOOT-CANDLES/ MODEL 603 NO. 376/ PATENT PENDING". Meter controls labelled. Instructions fixed inside case read in part "WESTON ILLUMINATION METER- MODEL 603/ DIRECTIONS FOR USE" and "Standardized at the Weston Laboratory, Newark, N.J., U.S.A./ Certified: J.B. Dowden/ Date November 11th, 1946". See copy of Instruction card in Supp. Info.
