This elevation drawing is one of the earliest diesel electric switchers manufactured and used in Canada. There were a total of 103 S-2 delivered to Canadian railway operations from 1940-1950. The drawings are important in so far as drawing room practice changed in the diesel electric period as erecting cards such as these were no longer produced by manufacturers. Il y avait un total de 103 modèles S-2 envoyé aux opérations ferroviaires canadienne entre 1940 et 1950.
