Part of collection of medical instruments used by Dr. Blanford Allen (1909-1995). Dr. Allen graduated from the University of Toronto's medical school in 1927. He served in the Army 1940-1945: in 1946 he joined the staff of the Toronto Western Hospital, working in Neurology and Psychiatry specialties. Dr. Allen was named FRCP (C) in 1972.
