Manufactured in Toronto by X-Ray and Radium Industries Ltd. This firm maintained stocks of therapeutic radium, as well as supplying radiology equipment, accessories & supplies. X-Ray & Radium Industries claimed to be capable of supplying "...all the medical radium and associated mineral requirement of the western hemisphere." [c. 1950s] The quality of therapeutic radium they sold was assessed on the company's own certificate of measurement or by the National Research Council of Canada, in Ottawa. [Ref. 2] - Function
