- Markings
- "TONKIE" printed in blue on central portion of jar body, within ornate border of swirling vines and flowers. "4" painted in blue on underside of base. "134" and "AM/ 3835" printed by hand on off-white adhesive labels applied to underside of base. UHN catalogue no. "X934.21.1" printed by hand in white on underside of base.

- Tin glazed pear-shaped "Delft ware" jar lid has blue decorative floral motifs painted on an off- white/ pale blue-grey background; interior is off-white/ pale blue-grey.
