- "CARL ZEISS, JENA [Zeiss logo= compound lens symbol] 2 X" stamped into each lens housing. "852" stamped into back of nose bridge of spectacle frame. UHN catalogue no. "X983.11 a" printed by hand in black ink on nose piece.
