Part of a large collection of medical artifacts, archival material & trade literature transferred to CSTM in 2002 from the former University Health Network [UHN] collection, Toronto, Ont. Log book (2002.1031) entry for slide reads "These were taken off the apple branch where they are usually found: & along with these on slide no 394 are some of the ? black eggs so ? round the ? of the Berberry which grows along side. The eggs are perfect & are not yet batched: what they may do in consequence of being in a heated room. I can not tell ? 16/1/67".
