This pass was one of twenty-seven issued to Mr. Lucien Brazeau and his wife to travel on the CP rail lines of Canada. Mr. Brazeau was a was an agent of CP Rail from 1928 and 1978 and thus served the company for fifty years. Cette carte de chemin de fer était utilisée par M. Lucien Brazeau et sa femme pour voyager sur les chemins de fer en opération avec CP Rail entre 1928 et 1978 respectivement. M. Brazeau était un agent de CP Rail pour plus de 50 ans.

Function

Used to inform rail employees that the bearer has the right to ride free on the train as per the specifications on the pass. Cette carte de chemin de fer était utilisée pour informer les employées de CP Rail que la personne qui possédais le billet pouvait monter à bord gratuitement.

Brazeau and wife---/ACCOUNT Agent - Bourget. /1952-53, On the shield/Sur le bouclier:"CANADIAN /PACIFIC/RAILWAY /LINES/ WORLD’S/ GREATEST/ TRAVEL/SYSTEM", The back of the rail pass reads in part/L'arrière de la carte de chemin de fer lit en partie:"CONDITIONS/Not transferable; revocable at any time; void if altered or presented/ by other than a person designated herein/Holder/FOR PERSONAL NON-COMMERCIAL USE ONLY”.

The proper left border is torn off and missing/La bordure du bon côté gauche est déchirée et manquant.

Finish

A white coloured rail pass with black and pink lettering to note its specifications. The year the ticket is valid for is written in pink as well. A pink shield is also visible in the proper top right corner of the ticket with the name of the railway company written in pink and white. A beaver sits atop the shield. Two handwritten signatures can also be seen in black ink along the bottom border. The back of the pass has a dotted line below a paragraph of printed black lettering. Une carte de chemin de fer de couleur blanche avec du lettrage rose et noire dessus pour noter ces spécifications. L'année du billet est écrite en rose au milieu de la carte. Un bouclier rose est situé au coin du haut du bon côté droit de la carte avec le nom de la compagnie du chemin de fer écrit en rose et en blanc. Un castor est assis sur le dessus du bouclier. Deux signatures sont aussi visibles en encre noire en dessous du bouclier le long de la bordure. Le dos de la carte a une ligne pointillée. En haut de la ligne il y a un paragraphe en lettrage noire.
