This camera was made in Canada and was used between 1955-1970s by the original owner Mr. Roy Jenkins in Ontario, Canada. Kodak Canada was founded by Eastman Kodak in 1899 in a Toronto shop where employees cut sheet film and fitted lenses on cameras to support the growing potential for a photographic market in Canada. As Canadian interest in photography grew, the company expanded across the country throughout the 20th century to produce in all aspects of photography including still and movie cameras, film, x-ray film, photocopy paper, and photographic chemicals under many popular names including Brownie, Kodacolor, Carousel, and Supermatic.

Technical
This is a rigid body viewfinder camera that uses 35mm film with a 44mm, f/3.5 Kodak Anaston Lens and Kodak Flash 300 shutter. The focus is adjustable from 2.5 feet to infinity, with aperture settings from f/16 to f/3.5. The Pony 135 was the first Pony camera for 35mm film. The Model C features a slightly wider-angle lens than other Ponies and has a brown finish (rather than black) (REF. 1)
