Founded in 1898, the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) is the leading technical society of professionals in the Canadian Minerals, Metals, Materials and Energy Industries. A Commemorative plaque given to CIM honouring its 100 anniversary in 1998, CIM celebrated its centennial, looking back over the past 100 years and recognizing its success.
