Markings: Caption below picture reads: "FIGHT FOR THE SKY/by/Robert Taylor/The tranquility of the countryside in southern England is abruptly broken as a Heinkel III, belonging to KG-53 based in occupied Belgium,/makes a noisy crash-landing narrowly missing a tree. relieved to have survived, the crew clamber out of their wrecked bomber/as a spitfire from 66 Squadron marks the victory.
