- Mfr's:"Columbia [logo; sail boat and wheat wreath] Vermicelli/BRAND/MADE IN CANADA/CONTAINS 8 OZS, NET WHEN PACKED/COLUMBIA BRAND VERMICELLI/MADE FROM THE FINEST GRADE OF ALBERTA NAPOLI PROCESS/Directions for Cooking and Serving -- For one pound of Vermicelli use 1 gallon of boiling water; do not put Vermicelli in the/water unless it is boiling; otherwise they will be soaked and not boiled. Keep the kettle covered when the Vermicelli is boiling and/remove it every two minutes so they will not go to the bottom. Boil for 25 minutes, and as soon as they are cooked take the kettle off/the stove and pour in one quart of water to stop boilling; then strain them will colander and dress them with Cheese, Butter, Tomatoes,/Beef Gravy, Milk or any way desired./THE COLUMBIA MACARONI CO. Ltd., LETHBRIDGE, ALBERTA.
