The lightbulb was used at the Canada Cotton Co. the first company in Canada to be electrified. The system was installed by Edison in April 1883. From the donor: “I was a child living in Cornwall before the old Canadian Cottons building burned down. We used to play in the building and I found a light bulb there and brought it home. It still burns to this day and I am sure that Tommy Edison would be pleased.” - Function
