In 1948, the Polaroid Land Camera first introduced to consumers the wonders of instant photography and the ability to snap a picture, process and print a photographic image almost instantly in one compact camera. Using the same Polaroid classic border and color spectrum logos as the late 1970’s Polaroid One Step Land camera (2003.0191), the Polaroid Socialmatic concept camera continues with the concept of ‘instant photography’ but in the digital age. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth web-connected device enables users to share their photos in print or digitally through any social media platform. The camera itself also has a similar form factor as the Instagram logo.
