Taken from acquisition worksheet: "The food preparation board is an example of an assistive technology designed to assist users with daily life; this is a growing field of domestic technology. The board has a set of four suction feet which allow it to remain firmly in place. The additional pieces are designed to hold kitchen tools or food in place so that the user can carry out a variety of food preparation activities—stirring, mixing, cutting, etc… Its jaws (two small posts and an adjustable brace) can hold various kitchen tools, such as a bowl, a grater, or a piece of food, in place. The board also comes with a small insert with spikes on one side which can hold smaller pieces of food in place. (ref. 2)". - Area Notes
