- Railway hospital car for Canadian casualties - the first railway hospital car to be turned out from the Montreal shops of the Canadian National Railways includes a kitchenette to provide for special diets which may be necessary for wounded and convalescent soldiers being moved from seaboard to interior hospitals. Not shown in the photograph is space for refrigeration and storage, a layout which would be approved by the housewife in charge of a small apartment.
