- "Venus poised her dart waiting for a passing swordfish". These warriors of the deep are caught in large quantities commercially off Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Specially rigged boats are used, a catwalk with pulpit being rigged in the bow from which the swordfish are harpooned. Excellent opportunity is afforded deep sea anglers to try their skill in these waters with red and line in quest of swordfish, one of the most mighty of deep-sea game fish.
