- Family of wood carvers - The brothers Bourgault, Mador, Français and Julien, of St. Jean Port Joli, a community of the Canadian National Railways below Quebec City, has established an international reputation as wood carvers specializing in figures depicting Quebec types. The brothers have founded a school of wood carving and have the assistance of two nephews in this laudable enterprise. Pupils come to the school from many points in the St. Lawrence River regions.
