- Close up of a length of 7" casing being added to casing which has already been run into Cannar Oils Ltd. well "Cannar No. 2". Casing already in the well is held by tapered opening through the rotary table shown in centre foreground. The new length of casing will be "stabbed" into the top coupling of casing already in the well and will then be screwed up first by hand tongs, such as that being held by helper in left foreground, and then by heavy casing tongs. The safety of a well depends on the proper screwing together of every length of casing.
