- Laundry facilities are available in the basement of the "Y" at Hornepayne. For 25 cents and a little effort, a man can do a $3.00 or $4.00 laundry. The men have the use of a modern washing machine and an electric iron. Plenty of hot water and lines and racks are provided. A reflection on the atmosphere of the "Y" is the fact that clothes are left unguarded while drying. In a year of operation only one item is listed as lost. Spirit of comradeship seems to be the answer. Dave Blackley, Brakeman of Huntsville, Ont. checks his wash in the machine and irons a shirt for his next trip.
