THIS TYPE OF SET WAS DESIGNED BY THE BRITISH INVENTOR, JOHN LOGIE BAIRD. IT HAS A DISC, BASED ON THE NIPKOW DISC, WHICH ROTATES AT EXACTLY THE SAME SPEED AS THE CAMERA DISC. BETWEEN THE DISC AND THE SCREEN IS A SMALL MIRROR AT 45 DEGREES WHICH REFLECTS THE LIGHT ON THE SCREEN [REF.1]. - Area Notes
