The Model l07B differs from the l06B in that the Geiger tube is mounted in a waterproof probe. This probe has a sliding shield which may be operated by loosening the knurled head screw on the probe. When the shield is closed the instrument detects Gamma rays only. With the shield open it will detect both Betas and Gammas.
