- Markings
- .1 Stamped on cross-bars: "2356-146-2" [5 times]; "2356-146-1" [2 times]; "2356-146-3" [1 time]; "3" [4 times]". On belt: "300L100 GATES Syncho Power Timing Belt". Mfr's plate on rotor: "SEAL MASTER/ STEPENS-ADAMSON MFG. CO./ AURORA, ILL/ BALL BEARING UNIT NO. MSF 36/ PAT. 2403687 OTHERS PEND.".

- Unassembled, so not known. The drive chain between the rotor and the alternator is missing. The rotor sprocket is also missing. Replacements may be purchased so that the drive system can be made complete before installation of the artefact into the new Energy exhibit.
