Technical

The PJ model is a new one introduced in 1935. Its design is all new from the frame up. It featured a heavier X braced frame, to which the body was bolted in 46 points. This was called unit frame and body construction. The front suspension was no more independent but had leaf springs that were made of a new type of steel. The engine was more powerful and had extra water jacketing. The style changed for a more roundish form. Plymouth name existed from 1928 until 2001.
