BASED ON AMERICAN BUILT "HOLMAN" PATENT, THIS TRACK LAYING MACHINE WAS ACTUALLY A GANTRY AND DELIVERY SYSTEM WHICH PERMITTED THE RAPID CONSTRUCTION OF RAILWAY LINES BY DELIVERING TIES & RAIL WITH MINIMUM EFFORT TO THE RAIL HEAD. THIS MODEL IS EXTREMELY ACCURATE, EMPLOYING APPROPRIATE COUPLING DEVICES FOR PERIOD. (REF.2) - Area Notes
