- Brass plate screwed to brush side of generator reads: " BRUSH DYNAMO ELECTRIC MACHINE/ PATENTED BY C.F. BRUSH/ NO. U96/ MANUFACTURED BY/ THE BRUSH ELECTRIC CO./ CLEVELAND.O.U.S.A. ". Decal applied to 1 rail (forming part of base) reads: " THE HYDRO/ HISTORICAL/ ELECTRICAL/ COLLECTION ". " 3 " PAINTED ON ONE FIELD COIL ON EACH SIDE ( DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED ) OF GENERATOR.
