THIS CLOCK WAS MANUFACTURED BY THE ELI TERRY CO. TERRY DEVELOPED 'SHELF CLOCKS' THAT WERE ONE-DAY CLOCKS MADE EXCLUSIVELY WITH WOODEN WORKS. HE EXPERIMENTED WITH THE DESIGN OF HIS CLOCKS UNTIL 1817 WHEN HE PATENTED HIS 'PERFECTED WOOD CLOCK' CALLED THEPILLAR SCROLL TOP CASE CLOCK. (REF.1) - Area Notes
