OFF.)/ HEATS ITSELF - - - STAYS HOT/ AFTER USING REPLACE IN ENVELOPE" and "EVERHOT HAS 1000 OUTDOOR USES/ THIS CAN BE USED OVER AND OVER" printed on one side of bag. "Insert Water Here/ [oval illustration includes star motif and text "Tested and Approved/ by/ Good Housekeeping/ Institute/ GOOD HOUSEKEEPING [illegible] ]/ DIRECTIONS/ Pour in TWO TEASPOONSFUL of cold water (three/ teaspoonsful after sixth use.) Shake for one minute to dis-/ tribute moisture throughout mineral compound, then insert/ in rubber bag and place under covers. EVERHOT starts to/ generate heat and stays hot 16-24 hours if kept covered./ To stop heat action remove "PACKAGED HEAT" and/ place on some unvarnished surface until thoroughly cold and/ dry- then replace in moisture-proof envelope until needed/ again./ One "PACKAGED HEAT" is good for 8-10 SEPARATE/ OVERNIGHT USES. [If EVERHOT is heated and then/ cooled off in an hour, as much chemical action is used as if/ the bag were allowed to remain hot all night long./ For a CONSTANT HEAT APPLICATION in severe ill/ness cases, one "PACKAGED HEAT" may be kept CONTIN-/ UALLY HOT FOR A WEEK by adding two teaspoonsful/ more water every twelve hours./ SECURE MAXIMUM HEATING HOURS FROM/ EACH "PACKAGED HEAT"- discard only when heat/ action fails to start after leaving EVERHOT under covers/ for an hour./ Manufactured by/ EVERHOT CHEMICAL CORPORATION/ NEWARK, N.J., U.S.A./ PATENTED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD" printed on reverse.
