Fletcher donated the object: Fletcher was a research specialist with the Poultry Division of the Canada Department of Agriculture from 1940 to 1975. Fletcher developed the Fletcher colour scale with NRC paint specialists according to Earle Snyder, "Eggs: The Production, Identification and Retention of Quality in Eggs."
