Technical: 12-BLADE SCARIFICATOR, FITTED WITH COCKING LEVER, BLADE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT KNOB (ON TOP), AND RELEASE BUTTON. OCTAGONAL CASING FAVOURED BY ENGLISH & AMERICAN CUPPING PRACTIONERS. (REF. 2)

Markings: "W. & H. HUTCHINSON,/ Sheffield" marked on one side of base. Two small sunburst symbols with "s" incised in centre are stamped into upper & lower halves of casing, near release button.
Missing: APPEARS COMPLETE. [BLADES COULD NOT BE RELEASED AT TIME OF CATALOGUING].
Finish: BRIGHTBRASS CASING; COCKING LEVER APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN NICKEL PLATED [FINISH NOW WORN]. TWO HALF-CIRCLE PANELS INSET IN CASING, ABOVE MFR'S MARKINGS, HAVE BEEN BLUED.
